Wednesday October 16th Grade 4 students visit Mactaquac Park. Busses will leave the school by 9:30 am and will return at approximately 2 pm, therefore it is important that your child arrives at school on time. Thanks to Parks NB, there is no cost for this field trip!
Students will be outside for the entire day. It is imperative that your child be properly dressed. Dressing in layers, along with packing extra warm clothing is highly recommended. Please check the weather and pack accordingly.
Your child will also require a packed lunch, snacks and enough water for the day.
Thursday October 17th will be our first School Play Day for this school year! With parents’ permission, students are invited to bring in things to play with on this very special day. Here are some examples of things your child may bring:
- Non-Violent Toys (no weapons)
- Legos, blocks, cardboard boxes, etc.
- Dress-Up
- Puppets
- Stuffed Animals
- Board Games
- Puzzles
- Sports equipment
- *no electronic devices*
Please make sure to label your belongings! Safety is key, so there will be no hard baseballs/softballs, but whiffle balls, foam or tennis balls are all great ideas.

Your child would like to represent Hubbard at our District Cross-Country Meet! Students will require their own transportation to and from the event. We ask that they are dropped off at 1:20 pm and picked up at 2:30 pm. We encourage parents to stay and cheer them on! Please ensure your child has plenty of water and sneakers with them.
Wednesday October 23rd Grade 5 students visit Mactaquac Park.
Friday October 25th School Picture Day. Harvey Studios will be here to take school Pictures.
