NO SCHOOL FOR FRIDAY NOVEMEBER 08- PL DAY FOR TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STAFF. 

Just a reminder that Student Fees are Due and can be paid online at SchoolCashOnline.com: Welcome Student fees are $50 

Our Lost and Found items are overflowing!  Please feel free to come look for any of your child’s missing items!  Remember to please label all of your child’s clothing! 

  • If a permanent change to primary or alternate address occurs it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify the school in writing at least 24 hours prior to the expected change in bussing. The district reserves the right to decline request for Alternate Address Change.    The student must be accommodated on an existing bus route, and the new bus must have room to accommodate the extra passenger. 

Bus passes are for emergency reasons only. Bus passes will not be given out for another other reason. Students are allowed to have 1 alternate location. (ex. Daycare, Shared Custody ect. )

  • Communicating End-of-Day Changes: Any last-minute changes to the end-of-the-day routine should be written and sent to the teacher the morning of the change.  Should this not be possible, a call to the admin assistants before 2:00 pm should occur and you must then enter the building to pick up your child.   Please do not email teachers last-minute changes as they do not check email during the instructional day. 
  • If you received your child’s Medicare card and have not already sent a copy into the school, please do so. If it was missing from your child’s Student Data Collection Sheet, you do need to send in a copy.

  • It is important that students come to school each day dressed for the weather!  Along with their regular outdoor recess times, students also have 40-minute Outdoor Phys. Ed. Class two/three times each week and are already complaining of the cold!  It’s a great idea to pack extra warm clothing in your child’s bag (be sure to label it)!

  • Monday November 11th– Remembrance Day No School for students 
  • Wednesday, November 13 is School Sport Canada National Jersey Day!  Students are encouraged to wear their jerseys to school! 
  • Tuesday November 19th – Picture Re-Take Day 
  • Friday November 22nd – No school for students, Professional Learning Day, Report Card Writing Day 
  • December 12th –Christmas Concert 9AM and 11Am More details to follow
