Terry Fox Walk
Looking at the weather forecast for tomorrow, as well as our rain date next Friday, are both calling for rain, so we are going to change our Terry Fox Walk date/time to this Tuesday, October 1, starting at 1:15 pm outside on the playground pavement.
Welcome Back Dance
Hubbard’s first ever Welcome Back Dance is happening on Thursday, October 3rd. It will run from 2:45pm to 4:00pm. There will be prizes to give away and the canteen will be open. The cost for this event is $5.00 and is to be paid IN CASH to your child’s homeroom teacher. The deadline for payment is Wednesday, October 2nd.
Cross Country
There is a cross country meet Hubbard vs. Summerhill Friday October 4th.
Participates are to be dropped off at 1pm and pick up is 2:30pm. Parents are welcome to stay and watch. Keep an eye out for the permission slip. Please label your students’ belongings.
Lice
It has come to our attention that some students have been absent due to cases of lice. Please take a second to check your student’s hair. Should you find lice or nits, please treat accordingly.
Please ask your children to avoid hair-to-hair contact during play.
Advise against sharing clothing such as hats, hair ribbons, barrettes, scarves, coats, or sports uniforms.
Discourage sharing combs, brushes, or towels.
