Variety Show Auditions:
Grades 3 and 4 will be auditioning on Monday, January 15th and Grade 5 students will be audioning on Tuesday, January 16th during lunch recess.
Hubbard Read-In:
Family Literacy Day in Canada takes place officially on January 27th this year, and in celebration of our school’s efforts to improve our students’ literacy and love of reading and learning, we are holding our annual Hubbard Read-In as part of this important life-long skill. We invite you to join us as a Guest Reader for this event.
We would be honoured if you would join us for approximately an hour of your day on Friday, January 26th to be a Guest Reader at Hubbard Elementary School from 9:30- 11:00 am.
Please bring and read a copy of your favourite children’s book to small groups of students from grade 3, 4, and 5 as an expression of the value we all share in reading in our lives. If you are in need of reading material, we have a supply of age-appropriate books on hand.

Rise Up:
Students were introduced to our new Rise Up program. Students are challenged to Rise Up in their behaviour by learning and exhibiting the 7 Sacred Teachings including love, honesty, respect, courage/bravery, wisdom and humility. Watch for our new Rise Up slips to come home with your student! Make sure to sign and return the slip so students can be rewarded!
