We are doing everything we can to save on paper. Today you have received a paper copy of the monthly newsletter; however, after this month ALL information will be posted on our school website as well as through School Messenger and School Cash. If you do not have access to a computer and need to have a paper copy, we would be happy to send one home with your child. Please communicate this to your childās teacher. Please ensure we always have a current email address on file.
A reminder that we are requesting students not to bring peanuts, nuts, or nut products to school. Thank you for your continued consideration and cooperation in dealing with this matter.
Medical Concerns
If you havenāt already done so and your child has medical concerns or needs, please reach out to your childās teacher to discuss filling in or updating our Policy 704 forms.
If your child needs to take any medications (over the counter or prescription), please reach out to the school before sending them.
Toys & Electronics
Please keep all toys and electronics including cell phones at home. There are many learning activities planned for your child throughout the day. Toys and electronics are distracting to your childās learning.

Reminder: There is a $50 Student fee for this coming year. This will cover your childās classroom supplies along with many educational needs throughout the year. Our preferred payment can be made on School Cash online.

Notice to Parents/Guardians
Please help us maintain a positive and safe learning environment. When dropping off or picking up your child(ren), please ring the doorbell to the right of our main door and we will page your childās classroom and have them meet you at the doors. Please be sure to label the items when dropping off.
When dropping off your child, please use the drop off lane in the front of the building. Please be mindful of the little people walking in this zone and drive slow.
If you need to drop off an item for your child, We will meet you at the door and deliver the items to your child. This practice will help us ensure a safe and productive learning environment for our students and staff.
Please do not park against the building from 2:30 pm on as the drop off and pick up line is constantly moving.

Bus Policy 550-1
A reminder of Anglophone West School Districtās School Bus Policy. If your child travels by bus and home is not noted as your childs stop, your child will not be able to get off the bus at the home address. This is to be outlined by parents on the Student Information Sheet. Telephone calls or verbal requests to the school asking for a change in drop off for your child will not be guaranteed.
Please contact our transportation department for any bus changes or concerns you may need as we progress throughout the year. Parents/caregivers are to ensure that children are safely picked up by the bus in the morning. For all students, bus drivers are looking for a parent/caregiver to be visible at the bus drop-offs.
CommunicationĀ Ā
Communication between parents and teachers is important. At Hubbard School we encourage parents to communicate with directly with classroom teachers. If at any time you need to contact your childās homeroom teacher, you can write a note in the agenda or email them directly. Email addresses can be found on our school website. You may also reach out by phone and we will pass the message along.
Chartwells/Nutrislice
Chartwells will be providing Hot Lunch from Monday to Thursdays. Reminder this is online ordering only, please do not send in cash for your childās lunch.
General Information
- Footwear: Students should have indoor footwear that is appropriate for Phys. Ed. as well as outdoor footwear.
- Legal Custody: To parents who have legal custody arrangements ā to ensure your wishes will be respected, we need a copy of the custody order on file at the school. Please contact the office or your childās teacher with the appropriate documentation. If you currently have a copy filed at the school, please bring this to the teachersā attention.
- Arrival in the Morning: Teachers begin supervising the playground at 8:00 a.m. For the safety of your child(ren) they should not arrive before the teachers begin supervision. Parents are responsible for supervising their children till 8:00 a.m.
- Student Absence Reporting: If you know that your child(ren) will be absent, please call our safe arrival system at 1-833-294-4838 by 8:00 am to let us know about their absence. You can also download and install the SchoolMessenger App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store (or from the link located on our website – https://go.schoolmessenger.com) . Our automated phone message system will contact you at approximately 9:30 a.m. if we have not been previously notified.
- Dismissal: The dismissal time is at 3:10 p.m. On Fridays, dismissal is 12:00 am. Parents/guardians are welcome to greet their child outside the front door. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended in the pick up lane.
- Health: Please keep your child home when sick. Masks are not required but students are welcome to wear one if they desire.
